How To Choose The Best Name For Your Daycare

You should keep in mind that quite often the best names are short, simple and easy to say.

What’s more, the name you land upon should effectively communicate what your Daycare center is all about, what its values are, and what it stands for.

After you’ve narrowed down to one or two of your favorite possibilities, it’s worth checking online whether there are any other daycare centers, preschools or kindergartens nearby with the same or a similar name, so as to avoid having to later change your name.

At this stage you might also want to check the URL and social media handles are available, or if not, whether there’s something similar that you could use as a work-around.

Regarding the initial brainstorming, a great way to start is by writing down everything that comes to mind, with the thinking that there’s no such thing as a bad idea at this early stage.

Then, once you have a long enough list, you can start crossing off names to arrive at your absolute favorites or to have some favorites you can use as the basis for further thinking and exploration.

Lastly, if you’re looking for a daycare name for your new business, you’ll do well to remember that ultimately it’s a child’s mom, dad or carer that will make the decision whether to send their child to your center, so ask yourself if the name will appeal to local residents, and whether you yourself would consider sending your child there!
